Buddy Program

This week Jade and I played on the playground with the little kids the first we played sneak up granny and then we played tag on the playground and the little kids loved it, Jade and I had a lot of fun just playing tag with the little kids and then we got called back inside because some year 7/8's were being silly and not joining there games. Then we were asked if we wanted to got to the year 1's teddy bear picnic and Jade Wareshia, Savannah, Candice and I went then we left. The leadership trait i showed is Active thinker because jade and I forgot about buddy program so I was fast to think on my feet and I said lets go on the play ground.

In Current Events I covered these topics:

• The design of the Halswell Skate Park and I made a submission to the council.
• Donald Trump’s Refugee Plan
• Christchurch Earth Memorial
• The new Ngā Puna Wai Sports Facility
• The Red Zone and Avon River Regeneration Plan with a submission to the council.

My favourite topic was Avon side Red Zone, December 2015 because the Avon side is a waste of space if we don't use it.

The Reading National Standards I have achieved are

kapa haka 5

Kapa Haka 31/3/17

This week for kapa haka we did more singing like normal but it was fun it is all ways fun. I Love doing kapa haka it is so fun to sing and learn Maori songs and I love sing it is like one of my favorite things to do I love singing and kapa haka is this best. My faviroute song is Aotearoa and I can almost sing the whole song. The leadership trait i showed is Integrity because even though I am leaving Kapa Haka I was getting a bit board I decided to be honest and fair and told Mr Brown.
